Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of letssign.now. They're under active legal review — the sections below are the binding ones already in force; the rest will be filled in as counsel signs off.

Acceptable use

Don't use letssign.now to send documents that are illegal, infringing, or fraudulent. We reserve the right to suspend workspaces that repeatedly violate these rules or that abuse the service (for example: spamming, circumventing rate limits, or attempting to impersonate another signer).

Signing scope

Signatures generated by letssign.now are Simple Electronic Signatures (SES) under eIDAS Art. 25(1) and comparable ZertES provisions in Switzerland, wrapped in a PAdES-B envelope with an RFC 3161 trusted timestamp. For matters requiring an Advanced or Qualified electronic signature (QES), please use a qualified trust-service provider; letssign.now does not issue qualified certificates today.

Data & privacy

Documents and audit data are stored in the region you select per workspace (EU by default). We never sell your data. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request for business plans. Unsigned requests expire after 14 days by default; the sender can shorten or extend this.

Refunds

Annual plans are refundable within the first 14 days pro-rata. Monthly plans aren't refunded once the billing cycle has started but can be cancelled at any time to prevent future charges.

Referral program

How it works. Every workspace gets a referral code shown at /settings/referrals. When someone new uses your link to sign up and purchases an annual plan (Branded, Teams, or Enterprise), both your workspace and theirs are credited with the reward amount shown on that page.

Eligibility.

  • Free plans, monthly plans, and trials don't earn referral credit.
  • Self-referrals are not permitted — the referred workspace must be operated by a different person or legal entity.
  • Only one reward is issued per referred workspace, even if multiple members sign up.
  • The referred customer must be the first paying plan on that workspace — existing paying workspaces that switch owners don't count.

How credit is applied.Credit is added to your workspace balance once the referred customer's first invoice has settled and cleared any refund window. Credit reduces future invoices until exhausted; it is not convertible to cash or redeemable against past invoices.

Currency conversion.Rewards are issued in your workspace's billing currency. When the referred customer pays in a different currency, we convert at our published exchange rate on the day the credit is issued. This rate is reset daily and may differ from interbank or card-network rates — the amount you receive can therefore differ from the nominal reward by a small percentage.

Refunds and reversals. If the referred customer is refunded, or if we determine in good faith that the referral was obtained in violation of these terms (fraud, collusion, self-referral, abuse), the corresponding credit is reversed. If the reversal would make your workspace balance negative, we apply the remainder to the next invoice.

Program changes. We may modify, pause, or end the referral program at any time, including changing reward amounts, eligibility rules, or the list of qualifying plans. Credits already earned before such a change remain redeemable under the rules in force when they were issued. We'll announce material changes in the referrals page and by email to workspace owners.

Tax.Referral credit is a discount on future service charges, not taxable income. You're responsible for any local tax implications of participating in the program.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Switzerland, with exclusive jurisdiction in Zürich, save for any mandatory consumer-protection law of the user's country of residence.
